Title: Mental Static Rating: G Summary: ( Subic, 4 April 2008 )
Poetry was never really my forte, but it's something I want to get better at. I see some of the flaws in this text, but I'm not entirely sure about how to fix it.

On the rare off-chance that someone other than myself is reading this, I offer you an explanation. From April-May 2005, my first ever summer semester in Ateneo or elsewhere, I attended a fiction seminar. I was still a Creative Writing major then, and my track was Fiction. To complete the course, all the students taking CW:Fiction were required to take this class. These classes were few and far between, so I took the opportunity when I found it.
For the class, we were required to read several readings and submit three works separately. The first two were workshopped, the third was to be graded unworkshopped, just to see how much we had learned out of the course. The instructor was extremely merciful.
Now, I am no longer a CW major, and I highly doubt that the course will be credited. For the record though, I got an A for my trouble, and for all the flaws inherent in such a grading system, it still feels quite satisfying to get a good grade out of it. Additionally, even though it was stressful and not at all what a summer truly should be, My First Summer Semester had been a very interesting and rewarding one. We all have to grow up sometime, after all.
No regrets then.

Because although I don't like my own stuff, I still don't want them to disappear forever. My other LJs are for other concerns. This one is for storage.
This is why I put up this journal.
